Blackjack Strategy for New Zealand guys

At first glance, Blackjack is a very simple game: if you score 21 points, you lose; if you score less than 21, you win unless the croupier improves your score. However, if you pay attention deeper, suddenly, it will become a much more challenging game that has much more to offer than meets the eye.
For relatively new players, the blackjack strategy table can help improve decision making and increase the chances of winning, but more advanced players who already know this table may find the most advanced strategies and game systems more attractive. Blackjack.
There are many different blackjack strategies or systems, some of which are created and already recognized, while others are created by enthusiastic players. Most have nothing to do with the process itself and the decision-making process in the game, but offer suggestions related to the betting structure. Therefore, these systems can be used in Blackjack as well as in other casino games such as roulette.
These are some of the most well-known and recognized strategies. We have tried to describe them in an easy-to-understand way so that they do not seem too complicated and also to show their failures.

Parlay system

The Parlay system is a system of positive development, that is, you increase your bet with each game you win: you bet on what you won in the last hand. That is, if you bet 1 Euro and won another 1 Euro, you will add the 1 Euro you won to your original bet, and in the next round you will bet 2 euros. You will continue this modality and if all goes well you will get a juicy win. Either way, if you lose, you lose everything you've won. Then you go back to your original bet. This is the main drawback of this system: it can help you win big or leave you without a win.

Password system

Another system of positive development, in which every time you win, you double your bet. That is, if you bet 1 Euro and win, you bet 2 euros on the next, 4 euros on the next and so on. In theory, the idea of betting more when you win increases your winnings. As for failures, it is the same as with the Parlay system.

Martingale system

Unlike the two previous methods, which are positive progression, this is a negative progression system. In fact, unlike Paroly, you double your bet only if you lose in the previous one. This is the most controversial method because it plays on the weakness of the gambling addict who always wants to try to eliminate losses, regardless of their cost. The main drawback of martingale and all other negative development systems is that if you continue to lose, you may run out of money to complete your strategy.

Labouchere System

Another negative progression system. This is a more complex method that works by decreasing the value of a six-digit series. It can be any number or sequence representing the units you have to put, that is 1, 3, 6, 6, 7, 8. You start with a bet on the first and last number. In this example, 1 and 8 are equal to 9. If you win, cross out those two numbers and move inside to pick the next two, in this case 2 and 7, which is 10. If you lose, you will add your last bet at the end of the sequence, in this case, 9. So, your sequence is equal to 1, 3, 6, 6, 7, 8 and 9. So your next bet is 1 and 9, which equals 10. This process is repeated until you have crossed out the entire set of numbers, and then, you start a new round. It is quite complex and has the same drawbacks as martingale.

1-3-2-6 system

This method is based on the theory that a player can win four times in a row. When he wins, the player will bet in units of 1, 3, 2 and 6. That is, the first time he wins, he will bet after the amount he previously wagered. If he wins again, he will bet that he won, but three times that amount and so on. If the player loses the bet before the end of the cycle, he returns to the first stage and starts again.
As you can see, these strategies are far from reliable, and some are riskier than others. If you put them into practice and you get lucky, you can make interesting profits, but don't forget that if you lose your luck along the way, these techniques, especially with negative progression, can result in significant losses.

Card counting

One of the unique aspects of blackjack is that players can get some advantage over casino odds if they use a card counting technique. This contributed to the growth of prestige and popularity of this game among casino visitors from all over the world.
The number of cards is based on the fact that when counting the outgoing cards, the player can know which cards are still in play, and then make the right decision when setting the amount of their bets. regarding other important issues related to the game.

In fact, counting cards helps the player to know whether there are more valuable or less valuable cards in the deck. This affects the game in two ways:
Since the dealer is forced to make a HIT (take a card) when he reaches 17, decks with lower cards increase their chances of winning, while those with more expensive cards increase their chances of BUSTING, that is, exceeding 21, and this will result in the loss of a hand.
When your turn comes, the player will behave differently if there are cards with low or high value in the deck. For example: being a hand of 16, if the player knows that there are more high-value cards in the deck, he may decide not to take more cards, that is, to stay in the STAND or stand, even if it is not the best hand for him. However, if you know that there are more low-value cards in the deck, you may decide to take a card, that is, make a HIT.
Since card counting is very useful for experienced players, casinos around the world have done their best to combat this technique, but without much success. This technique and the battle by casinos to eradicate it have also been the subject of numerous Hollywood films, the most famous being "21" and "rain Man" (known in Spain as "When brothers meet").

Blackjack variants

Blackjack is one of the most common, if not the most common casino games in the world. You can find it in almost any casino, both on land and online. It is played in a similar way internationally, but in some aspects it is treated differently, and it is known that some rules vary between continents, countries, cities and, sometimes, even between neighboring casinos. These rules and how they differ are called rule variants.
Knowledge of these rule variants is very important for two reasons. First, in some hands they will affect your movements. (See Our table of key strategies.) And secondly, they affect your chances of winning the game.
These are variations of the rules:
  1. Number of decks: you want to play at the table with the fewest decks as this will increase your chances of winning.
  1. Soft 17 or 17 soft: this is a 17 hand that contains AS. In all tables the dealer must be BROKEN up in hand 17. A table in which the dealer has to HIT in soft 17 reduces your chances of winning.
  1. Duplication: some tables allow players to duplicate their starting hands, others only allow it in starting hands with a value of 9, 10 or 11, etc.Playing at a table with the "Duplicate" option is of course beneficial for players.
  1. Split manually more than once: in some casinos you can split identical cards only once, while in others it is allowed twice or even more. The more chances to leave, the more chances you have to win.
  1. Duplicate after split hand: some casinos will allow you to duplicate after split hand . This option favors the player.
  1. Surrender: some casinos allow you to surrender and pay only half of your bet.
  1. Insurance: in some casinos, you can buy insurance from the dealer's blackjack if your open card is AS. If the dealer finally gets blackjack, you win 2 to 1.
  1. Dealer blackjack: you can lose all your bets or only the original dealer blackjack bet.
While rule variations may vary from casino to casino, most casinos in Las Vegas, Atlantic city, Europe or New Zealand usually have the same thing. This is a list (however, it is recommended to check the casino rules options before starting the game):
Blackjack in Las Vegas (Strip)
  1. Number of decks: 4

Blackjack rules
We have laid out the basic rules in a simple way so that you can start in a few minutes with the blackjack practice that we offer.
Table organization: dealer and up to 7 players.
The main goal of the game: using your cards, win when you get 21 or the number closest to 21, without passing. If you are over 21, you will automatically lose your hand. This situation is called "BUST"or " Pass". In Blackjack, you play against a casino dealer and try to win his cards: you don't play against other players.
Payment: usually 1: 1. Please note the exceptional cases below.
Cost of cards:
Letters numbers: (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10): they have the value printed numbers.
Face cards: Jack, Queen and King: Always worth 10.
ACE: 1 or 11, according to what the player chooses in each hand.
Game starts: each player bets on the table. The dealer deals two cards to each player and two to himself. Cards are dealt face up (up). One of the dealer's cards is dealt face down and is called a "closed card".
Blackjack: a combination of two cards (including AS and another card with a value of 10) that is up to 21 is called Blackjack. It's a winning combination. If the player makes blackjack, he wins 3: 2, if the dealer does not have blackjack either. In this case, a draw or PUSH is declared (the situation when the player and the dealer have the same number of points). In this case, the player returns the bet made and he returns the money he made.
Insurance: Offered to players when the dealer's open card is an ACE, as insurance in case the dealer can make blackjack. The amount of this insurance is half of the original rate. If the dealer gets blackjack, the player wins 2-1.
Player movements. After receiving their cards the player can use any of the following options:
HIT (take a letter): get an extra letter. The player can do this several times until he is satisfied with the cards he has or until he deals 21. ( BUST ),
STAND: Play two initial cards without collecting more cards.
DOUBLE DOWN: Double the original bet. In this case, only one card can be added to the hand. This option is only available if the player has not used other options.
SPLIT: if the first two cards are identical (a pair), the player can choose to SPLIT and "split" them, i.e. play them separately. To do this, place a bet equal to the amount of the original bet. The dealer will then split them to create two independent hands.
GIVE UP: allows a player to give up their hand by paying half of their original bet. This option is only available in some casinos. Sometimes it is only available if the dealer does not have blackjack.
Dealer moves: after all players have finished their hands, it is the dealer's turn. This is subject to the rules previously defined by the house written on the Blackjack table. Typically, the dealer must make a HIT (take a card) until he reaches 17 or more. In the case of "Soft 17", in which the hand includes an ACE, you may need to take another card (HIT soft 17) or play two initial cards (rack) on all seventeen.
